Viewing the Self Service Dashboard

The Self Service dashboard provides an overview of user notification activity in your organization.

Filtering

  • Time Range: Use the Time Range filter in the upper right to choose a specific time range between 2 hours and 48 hours in which to view data. Select Custom to select a specific time range. The start date must be within the last 14 days, and the minimum time range is 15 minutes. You can set any time range greater than 15 minutes in 5-minute increments.

    The selected period applies to all data within the dashboard. The default time range is 2 Hours.

  • Filter data: Click the filters in the top left to limit the data shown. Each filter allows you to include or exclude individual options.
    • Departments: Your departments. To learn more, see About Departments.
    • Zscaler Locations: Your locations. To learn more, see About Locations.
    • Geolocations: The geographic areas where your users are located.
    • Notification Types: Identified as Wi-Fi, CPU, Low Memory, or Other.

Click Apply to update the dashboard with your selections. To remove all filter selections, click Reset.

Dashboard Widgets

  • This widget shows the number of notifications sent, including the percentage increase or decrease. The Notifications by Type bar graph shows the number of notifications broken out by type: Wi-Fi, CPU, Low Memory, or Other.

  • This widget shows the number of users who received notifications, including the percentage increase or decrease, and the number of users who provided feedback that their notifications were helpful, including the percentage increase or decrease.

  • This widget shows the number of active users who have Self Service enabled, including the percentage increase or decrease, and the number of users who disabled their notifications, including the percentage increase or decrease.

  • This graph shows the number of user notifications that were generated for the selected time period.

  • This table provides a detailed list of user notifications for the specified time period and type.

    • User: The user who received the notification.
    • Device: The user's device that launched the notification.
    • Notification Type: Indicates whether the notification was related to CPU, Wi-Fi, or another issue.
    • Found It Helpful?: Indicates Yes or No if feedback was provided by the user. Not available indicates feedback was not provided.
    • Timestamp: The date and time of the notification.

    Click any notification row in the table to see additional detail about that notification.
