About Users

Zscaler provides a number of ways to provision users, groups, and departments as described in ZIdentity Authentication. This article describes how to view or download user accounts on the Users page as well as provides an overview of its features. You can add up to 1400K users as described in ZIdentity Users. For a complete list of ranges and limits per feature, see Ranges & Limitations.

Users provide the following benefits and enable you to:

  • Download a list of users within your organization who have access to the Internet & SaaS service.
  • View users enrolled for the Internet & SaaS service.

On the Users page, users are listed as view-only with limited options (i.e., download user data and search for users) as you're subscribed to the ZIdentity service. To learn more, see What Is ZIdentity?

About the Users Page

On the Users page (Administration > Identity > Internet & SaaS > User Management > Users), you can do the following:

  1. Download a CSV file that lists your users.
  2. Filter your user search by user ID or name, group, or department.
  3. Search for a configured user.
  4. View a list of configured users. For each user, you can see the following information:
    • User ID or Name: The user's username or domain name.
    • User Name: The user's display name that is visible throughout the Admin Portal when configuring policies.
    • Groups: The groups the user belongs to.
    • Department: The department the user belongs to.
    • Status: The status of the user.
  5. Modify the table and its columns.
  6. View a configured user.
  7. Go to the Groups page.
  8. Go to the Departments page.
