Add Custom File Hashes

In addition to the default Sandbox policy rules, you can add custom MD5 hash values for your organization to block specific files that are applicable to Sandbox analysis.

To add a custom hash:

  1. Go to Policies > Cybersecurity > Inline Security > Sandbox, then click on the Advanced Policy Settings tab.
  2. Under MD5 Hash Values, paste or type in your custom hash value and click Add items.

    See image.

  3. Click Save and activate the change.

To remove a custom hash:

  • Click the Delete icon next to the specific value.
  • Click the Remove dropdown and either Remove All or Remove Page.
    • Remove All will delete all custom file hashes.
    • Remove Page will delete only those custom file hashes on the currently selected page.

Add custom file hashes.
