About Privileged Remote Access Applications
Privileged Remote Access allows you to provide temporary remote access to specific applications. Privileged Remote Access allows contractors and third-party users access to specific applications. You must first set up privileged portals and privileged consoles on the Privileged Portals and Privileged Consoles pages.
Privileged Remote Access applications provide the following benefits and enable you to:
- Quickly identify which application segments are enabled for Privileged Remote Access.
- See which ports and protocols have been configured for Privileged Remote Access.
- Apply filters to change the view of Privileged Remote Access-enabled application segments.
About the Privileged Remote Access Applications Page
On the Privileged Remote Access page (Logs > Insights > Privileged Sessions), you can:
- Expand all the rows in the table to see more information about each application. Go to the Application Segments page to add a new application segment or manage existing application segments.
- Filter the information that appears in the table. By default, no filters are applied.
- View a list of all applications that were specifically configured for Privileged Remote Access within an application segment. For each application, you can see:
- Name: The name of the application. When expanded, the following information is displayed:
- Segment Group: The segment group that the application segment is a member of.
- Server Groups: The server groups that the application is hosted on.
- Domain: The fully qualified domain name (FQDN) associated to the application.
- Application Protocol: The protocol (VNC, SSH, or RDP) used for the application.
- Application Port: The port number used for the application.
- Name: The name of the application. When expanded, the following information is displayed:
- Edit an existing application segment.
- Delete an application.
