Enabling or Disabling Alert Rules

While adding an alert rule, you can also configure alert notifications. After the configuration, you must enable the alert rule, which allows ZPC to send notifications by email to specific recipients, or to third-party tools based on the notification channel you've selected. To learn more, see About Alert Rules.

You can initially configure the alert rule and notification, but enable the notification at a later point in time.

ZPC sends alert notifications only when you've enabled the alert rule.

To enable or disable an alert rule:

  1. In the left-side navigation, select Alerts.
  2. On the Alerts page, click the Notifications tab.

The list of alert rules is displayed.

  1. Search for the alert rule that must be enabled or disabled for notification.
  2. Choose either of these options:
      1. Click the toggle under the State column.

      2. A confirmation message appears. Click Enable or Disable depending on the action.

      1. Click the Edit icon under the Actions column.
      2. On the Edit Alert Rule page, click the Alert Rule Status toggle to enable or disable the alert rule.
