Editing or Deleting a Vulnerability Scanning Rule

You can edit the vulnerability scanning rule to change the scan schedule, add or remove container images, etc., based on your organizational requirements.

Editing a Vulnerability Scanning Rule

To edit a vulnerability scanning rule:

  1. Go to Cloud Posture > Vulnerability Management.
  2. On the Vulnerability Management page, select the Scanning Rules tab.
  3. Click the Edit icon for the rule that you want to edit.

  1. On the Edit Scan Rule page, change the Rule Name if required, then click Next.

  1. Update the details on the Resource Scope page as required, then click Next.
  2. Update the details on the Scan Schedule page as required, then click Next.
  3. Review the changes. Click the Edit icon if you want to change any value again.
  4. Click Finish.

The vulnerability scanning rule is updated successfully.

Deleting a Vulnerability Scanning Rule

To delete a vulnerability scanning rule:

  1. Go to Cloud Posture > Vulnerability Management.
  2. On the Vulnerability Management page, select the Scanning Rules tab.
  3. Click the Delete icon for the rule that you want to edit.

  1. A confirmation message appears. Read the message, then click Delete.

The vulnerability scanning rule is deleted.
