Editing or Deleting a Custom Role

You can edit a custom role and modify the permissions to view, access, or restrict access to specific modules in the ZPC Admin Portal.

You cannot edit predefined roles.

Editing a Role

To edit a role:

  1. Go to Administration > Role Management.
  2. On the Role Management page, click the Edit icon for the role or custom role that you want to edit.

  1. In the Edit Role window, change the Role Name or Permissions, as required.

  1. Click Update.

A message appears indicating that the role is updated successfully.

Deleting a Custom Role

You can delete a custom role when required. If the role is associated with a group, then you need to assign a different role (custom or predefined) to the group and then proceed to delete the role.

You cannot delete predefined roles.

To delete a custom role:

  1. Go to Administration > Role Management.
  2. On the Role Management page, click the Delete icon for the custom role that you want to delete.

  1. In the Delete Role window, read the message, then click Delete. If the role is assigned to any group, you must assign another role to the group.

The role is deleted from the ZPC Admin Portal.
