Resetting the Login Credentials or MFA
You can reset the password, multi-factor authentication (MFA), or security key or biometric when you've forgotten the credentials or when required.
- Resetting the Password
Resetting the Password by Using the Reset Password Option
- On the login page, enter your username, then click Next.
On the next page, click Having trouble logging in?
Click Reset Password.
The link to reset the password is sent to your email address. This link remains valid for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, you need to resend the link again.
- Open the email and click the link.
- Enter the new password, then click Next. To set up MFA, click Skip and Register a Security Key or Biometric.
- Click Save.
Click Continue.
You are logged in to the ZIdentity Landing Page.
Resetting the Password by Requesting an Administrator

Close - Resetting the Second-Factor Authentication
- On the login page, enter your username, then click Next.
- On the next page, click Having trouble logging in?
Click Reset Second Factor.
The link to reset the second-factor authentication is sent to your email address. This link remains valid for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, you need to resend the link again.
- Open the email and click the link.
In the Multi-factor Authentication window, select the preferred method (Security Key or Biometric, Google Authenticator, Phone OTP, or Email OTP) for second-factor authentication, then click Set Up.
- Configure the setup as necessary.
- Click Next.
Enter the code from the authenticator and verify.
After the verification, a message appears indicating that the credentials are updated.
Click Continue.
You are logged in to the ZIdentity Landing Page.

- On the login page, enter your username, then click Next.
- On the next page, click Having trouble logging in?
Click Reset Security Key or Biometric.
The link to reset the key is sent to your email address. This link remains valid for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, you need to resend the link again.
- Open the email and click the link.
- Set up the security key or biometric.
- Select the device (e.g., phone, security key) where the passkey must be saved, then click Next.
- Scan the QR code and complete the verification process.
Click Continue.
A message appears that the setup is completed successfully.
Click Continue.
You are logged in to the ZIdentity Landing Page.
