Enabling or Disabling a Scan Setting
After you configure the scan settings for a cloud resource, you must enable the scan setting to initiate the scan as per the schedule.
Enabling a Scan
To enable a scan:
Go to Administration > Scan Settings.
The Scan Settings page appears.
Click the toggle under the Scan Settings column.
Read the message that appears, then click Enable.
The scan setting is enabled and the scan starts as per the schedule.
Disabling a Scan
You can disable a scan when required. Any full scans that are currently in progress are completed, but subsequent incremental scans are disabled. To stop the full scan immediately, you need to first stop the scan from the Actions menu on the Scan Settings page.
To disable a scan:
Go to Administration > Scan Settings.
The Scan Settings page appears.
Click the toggle under the Scan Settings column.
Read the message that appears, then click Disable.
The scan setting is disabled.
