Posture Control (DSPM)
Accessing and Navigating the DSPM Admin Portal
This article covers the following topics:
- Signing in to the DSPM Admin Portal
After your organization is provisioned for DSPM, you receive an email with the tenant ID and a link to reset the password. After you reset the password, you can sign in to the DSPM Admin Portal.
The password must contain a minimum of 12 characters with a combination of lowercase and uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters with no two identical characters in a row.
To improve user authentication security, multi-factor authentication is enabled for local users.
When the Login page appears:
- Enter your Login ID. This is your registered email address.
- Click Next.
- Enter the Verification Code you received in your email address. The verification code is valid for 10 minutes. If the code expires, or you don't receive it, click Resend to receive another code after 60 seconds.
- (Optional) If you are assigned to multiple tenants, select the tenant you want to log in to.
- Enter your Password and then click Sign In.
DSPM performs regular checks to keep your account safe. In case of a password breach, DSPM invalidates your password and sends an email with a password reset link that is valid for 72 hours.
Optionally, you can also reset your password by clicking Forgot password? See image.
A password reset link is sent to your email address.Using SSO
When you configure IdPs, all the users in a particular tenant of your organization can log in using single sign-on (SSO).
If your account is configured to use single sign-on (SSO):

You are redirected to your IdP's login page. - Log in with your credentials. If you are logged in successfully, you are redirected back to the DSPM Admin Portal. To learn more, see About Identity Providers.

You can access the DSPM Admin Portal from the Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) admin portal using SSO.
In the ZIA Admin Portal, go to Dashboard > Zscaler DSPM Portal, or Policy > Zscaler DSPM Portal. You are directed to the DSPM Admin Portal. On the Data Sensitivity Settings page, you can see the link to navigate back to the ZIA Admin Portal and modify the DLP engine configuration. This link is only visible if you access the DSPM Admin Portal from the ZIA Admin Portal and not vice versa. To learn more, see Accessing the DSPM Admin Portal using SSO.
Signing In as Breakglass Admin
If the IdP is enabled for your organization but you're not able to log in because of IdP issues, then you can log in as a Breakglass Admin directly.
- On the Login page, click Sign in as Breakglass Admin.
- Enter your Login ID and click Continue.
- Enter the Verification Code you received in your email address. The verification code is valid for 10 minutes. If the code expires, or you don't receive it, click Resend to receive another code after 60 seconds.

Enter your Password and click Sign In.
The user with admin role can log in using the Breakglass Admin option directly (with local credentials) even when the IdP is enabled.
After logging in to the DSPM Admin Portal, the session remains active for 15 minutes. After 14 minutes, a pop-up window appears, prompting you to either extend the session or log out. If you choose to extend the session, it's extended by 15 minutes. If you don't take any action, you are automatically logged out from the DSPM Admin Portal.
Close - Accepting the End User Subscription Agreement (EUSA)
When you log in for the first time, the DSPM Admin Portal displays the EUSA. Accept the EUSA. If you click Cancel, the DSPM Admin Portal logs you out automatically. You can read the full EUSA any time.
When DSPM is first provisioned for your organization, you receive the admin account credentials. You are required to directly log in to the DSPM Admin Portal using your admin account credentials and accept the EUSA. Only after this initial login and EUSA acceptance, you can use SSO to access the DSPM Admin Portal from Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA).
