How do I customize the end user notifications to display a timestamp?

You can customize the appearance of the end user notifications (EUNs) with CSS styles, HTML tags, and JavaScript. For more information, see Customizing the AUP and EUNs with CSS Styles.

To customize the end user notifications to display a timestamp, do the following:

  1. Go to Administration > End User Notifications.
  2. Scroll to the notification you want to modify:
    • URL Categorization
    • Security Violation
    • Web DLP Violation
  3. In the Notification Text field of the notification, enter the following code:
<br><font size=-2>
<script type="text/javascript">
var e = Date.now();
var d = new Date(e);
document.write(d);
</script>
</font>

In this example, a timestamp has been configured for the URL Categorization notification:
