You can back up and restore a set of policies if, for example:
- You want to modify your existing configuration, but do not want to commit the change without first having a backup in case the new configuration does not function as intended.
- You want a strict policy that has very little tolerance for risk that you can revert to in case of a virus outbreak or if your security infrastructure suddenly changes.
The Zscaler service backs up all policies, including their components, such as time intervals, URL categories and keywords, DLP engines and dictionaries, and all the related configuration settings. You can save up to 200 backup files.
