About App Supportability

App Supportability settings provide you with the following benefits and allow you to configure the following settings for Zscaler Client Connector:

  • Allow users to request support for the app by clicking Report an Issue. You can specify whether their request goes only to your organization's support admin or whether it also goes directly to Zscaler Support.
  • Allow users to access logging controls. Users can export logs as a text file, clear logs, and change the logging mode.
  • Allow users to troubleshoot the app by clicking Restart Service or Repair Service.
  • Configure Zscaler Client Connector to automatically populate the username field for your organization’s IdP login form, using either JavaScript or SAML.

About the App Supportability Page

On the App Supportability page:

  1. Configure user access to logging controls for Zscaler Client Connector.
  2. Configure user access to support options for Zscaler Client Connector.
  3. Configure user access to the restart and repair options for Zscaler Client Connector.
  4. Configure automatic username population for IdP authentication.
  5. Configure automatic ZPA reauthentication.
  6. Register devices with the ZPA IdP username.
