Viewing the Networking Dashboard
The Networking dashboard provides information about traffic, data centers, and devices in your organization.
Filtering
- Time Range: Use the Time Range filter in the upper right to choose a specific time range between 1 Day and 90 Days in which to view data. The selected period applies to all data within the dashboard. The default time range is 14 Days.
The following widgets are available:
- Traffic in my Organization
This widget shows three line graphs:
- Number of transactions and percentage change for the selected time period
- Overall traffic volume and percentage change for the selected time period
- Traffic volume in your network, for Road Warrior, or totally remote users (indicated by the blue line) and In-Office users (indicated by the green line).
Click Internet or Private to toggle between viewing internet or private application traffic.
Close - Internet Traffic Distribution
This circle graph shows the total traffic volume and a circle graph that shows the distribution of traffic between road warriors and in-office users in your organization.
Close - Top 10 Locations Sending Traffic to Zscaler
This bar chart shows the top locations that are sending traffic through Zscaler.
Close - Data Centers, App Connectors, and Cloud & Branch Connectors
This widget shows a map indicating the locations where users are accessing Zscaler services. Click the Data Centers, App Connectors, and Cloud & Branch Connectors tabs to toggle between maps that display nformation about each of the types of services.
- On the Data Centers tab, the relative size of the dot indicates how much traffic is flowing through the location. Click a location to see the total volume and total transactions at that location.
- On the App Connectors tab, the relative size of the dot indicates how many connectors are in use at that location. Click a location to view more information on the connect.
- On the Cloud & Branch Connectors tab, the relative size of the dot indicates how many connectors are in use at that location. Click a location to see the type of connector, its health status, location, and traffic. Check the boxes to view only Cloud Connectors or Branch Connectors. Click View Connector Activity to open the Connector Activity Dashboard.
- User Devices and Device OS Distribution
This widget shows the total number of devices that have been discovered in your organization and the percentage time for the selected time period. A bar graph shows the distribution of operating systems for all the devices in your organization.
Close - Devices Discovered
This widget shows the breakdown of devices, such as smartphones, computers, printers and peripherals, and IOT devices, that have been discovered in your organization in the most recent 24 hours.
