If you have the PRA File Transfer System, you can upload files from your system directly to the Privileged Remote Access (PRA) cloud using the PRA Portal where you can manage your uploaded files. After you have uploaded files to the PRA File System, you can then transfer those files to a privileged console.

If you don't have the PRA File Transfer System, you can upload and download files from a privileged console. To learn more, see Uploading and Downloading with File Transfer.

Uploading a File to the PRA File Transfer System

To upload a file to the PRA File Transfer System:

1. Click the PRA File Transfer System icon on the PRA Portal homepage.
2. Click the Upload icon on the My Files page.

Your system's file window appears.

3. In your system's file window, select the file you want to upload and click Open.

The status of the uploading process can be tracked in the bottom right window. If you click Cancel, a window appears to confirm the cancelation. If you cancel a file upload, the file won't appear on the My Files page.

4. When the file is uploading, you can view the status on the My Files page.

If the file isn't uploaded, then it shows as canceled in the bottom right window.

Transferring a File to a Privileged Console

To transfer a file to a privileged console:

1. Select the privileged console from the PRA Portal homepage.
2. Click the File Transfer icon at the bottom of the screen.

The File Transfer window appears and the files you've uploaded to the My Files page are displayed.

3. Under My Files, select the file that you want to transfer, and select the directory you want to transfer the file to. Malicious files cannot be transferred.

4. Click the arrow icon to transfer the file.

The file is transferred from the PRA File System to the privileged console.
